BIO
Mary Catherine Garrison made her television debut in 1996 with a guest appearance as Alana Fontaine on The Big Easy. In 2001, she appeared in episodes of Law & Order and Third Watch. Additional guest roles followed in Lipstick Jungle (2008), Flight of the Conchords (2009), 30 Rock (2009), and The Good Wife (2009). From 2013 to 2019, she had a recurring role as Sophie Brookheimer on Veep, appearing in seven episodes. She also guest-starred in Good Behavior (2016) and Mommy Blogger (2018). From 2022 to 2024, she was a series regular as Tricia Miller on Somebody Somewhere.
Her film debut came with an uncredited role in 8mm (1999). In 2002, she appeared in Moonlight Mile and Flowers. She went on to roles in How to Deal (2003), The Caterpillar’s Kimono (2013), and Begin Again (2013). Later film credits include Easy Living (2017), The Land of Steady Habits (2018), and Let Them All Talk (2020).
In addition to her television and film roles, Garrison has also appeared in Broadway productions of The Man Who Came to Dinner, Assassins, Rabbit Hole, Top Girls, Accent on Youth, and Lend Me a Tenor.
